Service Work Grant

George Williams offers a distinctive work option to complement our academic programs and students' career interests.  First year residential and commuter students have the option of working on campus and receiving a work grant in the amount of $2,800 credited towards tuition costs. The program requires students complete 10 hours per week for 160 hours of work per semester. Students provide essential services to the college and the process serves as a significant learning experience.

Leaders Scholarship

We have been preparing leaders for service to society since our founding in 1890; our scholarship program is designed to support this key philosophy of the mission of George Williams. High school students who demonstrate commitment to volunteering and service learning may receive an additional scholarship up to the amount of $2,000.  Students must submit a one page narrative documenting their experiences for review by the scholarship committee. Materials are due by March 1, 2012.
